Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is looking for a Locum Anaesthesiologist to join our exceptional Physician compliment in Moose Jaw, SK. The successful candidate(s) will join our team to provide comprehensive anesthesiology services to the patients of southwest Saskatchewan at the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. The scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage. We provide full obstetrical services, as well as general surgery, gynecology, urology, and ophthalmology. Elective OR runs from 0745 to 1600 hours.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a Fellow (or be eligible for Fellowship) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Anesthesia. Candidates should be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).

Preference will be given to University of Saskatchewan graduates and individuals with strong ties to Saskatchewan. This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family-centered care.
