Governing Law and Choice of Forum

This website and these terms and conditions will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision, principle or rule and notwithstanding your residence or physical location.

Any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this website and under these terms and conditions will be instituted in the courts of Saskatchewan and/ or the Federal Court of Canada, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts in any such action or proceeding. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to the venue of such courts.

Privacy

Saskatchewan Health Authority maintains the confidentiality and privacy of individuals’ personal and health information while collecting, using and disclosing information in compliance with The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and The Health Information Protection Act. Saskatchewan Health Authority may disclose personal health information for approved purposes as authorized by The Health Information Protection Act.

Saskatchewan Health Authority does not collect, use or disclose personal or personal health information in any manner that is not in accordance with its duties, applicable legislation and established policies. Your personal information will only be collected if you voluntarily provide it to Saskatchewan Health Authority. The personal information you provide to Saskatchewan Health Authority will only be used for purposes related to or required for the services you have requested Saskatchewan Health Authority to provide. By providing Saskatchewan Health Authority with your personal information, you consent to the use of that information for these purposes.

Your personal information may be disclosed to any member of the Saskatchewan Health Authority staff for the purposes of providing our services. Your personal information may also be disclosed to other Saskatchewan organizations, as may be reasonably necessary, for the purpose of providing Saskatchewan Health Authority’s services.​

What information do we collect?

When you visit the saskdocs.ca website, the web server automatically collects a limited amount of information essential for the operation and security of our website and the other sites that reside on the server. Email and Internet Communication

Saskatchewan Health Authority shall not be liable for any damages you may experience, or costs you may incur, as a result of sending information by email or, should you request it, as a result of Saskatchewan Health Authority sending information to you by email.
