The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a 1.0FTE family physician to provide physician services in the Davidson Primary Care Clinic located in the Town of Davidson.
Davidson Health Centre is an integrated facility that offers the following: 30 Continuing Care beds, 2 acute care beds, 5 temporary care beds, Emergency Department, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), as well as lab/x-ray services.
The Davidson Primary Care Clinic is connected to the facility and provides a collaborative practice with Craik Primary Care while providing 1:3 on-call and clinic services to the community of Davidson . Both sites are supported by two physicians and one Nurse Practitioner. This Physician will work closely with nurses, and other members of the health care team to meet the specific needs of this community and its surrounding area.

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license to practice in Saskatchewan from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Applicants will also hold ACLS certification.
