Job Description
Saskatchewan Health Authority - Family Physician
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a part-time (0.6) Family Physician to provide services in the communities of Mankota, Kincaid, and Ponteix. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, Physicians support all aspects of care in Primary Health Care and Long Term Care.
This role also supports on-call Emergency and Acute coverage in the community of Gravelbourg, commensurate to part-time FTE.
Physicians in this role will have the opportunity to work within varied skillsets, with a dedicated team. The Southwest is an excellent area to call home, with a variety of activities, friendly people, and an excellent work-life balance.
Relocation Package
This opportunity is eligible to receive the Rural Physician Incentive Program of up to $200,000!
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). Preference will be given to University of Saskatchewan graduates and individuals with strong ties to Saskatchewan. Candidates should be eligible for regular license though the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS). This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family-centered care. In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
