Job Description

Prince of Wales Medical Clinic is looking for full-time, part-time, and locum physician or a specialist to join our well established and friendly team of physicians.

Prince of Wales Medical Clinic is located inside Superstore, the busy shopping Regina destination in East part of the city. East Regina is considered to be the most desirable area to live, shop and work in our city. The clinic is located next to Superstore pharmacy. We provide both regular family practice and walk-in services.

We currently have 3 physicians working with us on a fee-for-service basis. Our doctors working full time have consistently very good income, which is more than enough to support exceptionally high standard of living. The advantages of practicing with our group also include:

  • Competitive overhead split resulting in excellent earnings (details are negotiable, depending on the level of involvement, full time, part-time or locum).
  • You can practice on a full-time basis, provide walk-in shift coverage, or do a mix of both.
  • A fully implemented Accuro EMR with remote internet-based access provides the efficiency and convenience of paperless charting.
  • The option to manually chart your notes is available.
  • IT support is provided.
  • Scheduling flexibility is provided with no associated overhead costs during your vacations, CME time or other periods of absence from practice.
There is a possibility for any new doctor joining our clinic for full time engagement to receive financial support to help with the relocation costs.

Job Qualifications

The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license to practice in Saskachewan with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; in accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member.
