  • The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Immunology and Allergy specialist to join our dynamic and expanding pediatric specialty team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

    This position provides an opportunity to establish and grow a pediatric clinical immunology and allergy practice within a collaborative academic environment serving children and families across Saskatchewan.

    The successful candidate will provide consultative outpatient care in pediatric allergy and immunology, including evaluation and management of a broad range of allergic and immunologic conditions. The physician will work closely with pediatric subspecialists, family physicians, and multidisciplinary health care teams.

    Clinical services are primarily based at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, Saskatchewan’s only tertiary pediatric facility, and associated outpatient clinics.

    Clinical Responsibilities

    • Provide consultation and management of pediatric allergic and immunologic disorders
    • Perform allergy testing, immunotherapy, and diagnostic evaluations
    • Provide outpatient consultative services for children referred from across Saskatchewan
    • Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, family physicians, and allied health professionals
    • Participate in teaching medical students and pediatric residents through the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine
    • Contribute to the development of pediatric allergy and immunology services in Saskatchewan

    Eligible candidates may qualify for the Pediatric Subspecialist Recruitment and Retention Incentive, which provides up to $200,000 over five years for physicians establishing a full-time pediatric subspecialty practice in Saskatoon.

    Job Qualifications

  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) certification (or equivalent) in Clinical Immunology and Allergy. While candidates with dual specialization will be prioritized, we encourage individuals with single specialization in either Allergy or Immunology to apply.
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)
  • Eligibility for Saskatchewan Health Authority practitioner staff membership
  • Commitment to collaborative patient-centred care and academic teaching
