The Yorkton Regional Health Centre, located in southeast Saskatchewan (Network 4) is seeking a team-oriented and professional Obstetrician and Gynecologist to be part of our health care team for one year. The position involves labour and deliveries, c-sections, gynecological surgeries and treatments, consults and specialist emergency call.
The Yorkton Regional Health Centre requires an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for one year who is certified or eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). The successful candidates must register with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) and be licensed to practice medicine in Saskatchewan. The physician must maintain membership and insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association and be legally entitled to work in Canada. Language of work is English.
The City of Yorkton is located in the south east area of the province, with a population just under 20,000 people. The referral population for our specialty services is approximately 100,000; the area extends itself north, south and east across the Manitoba border. Over 50 Family Physicians may do referrals to this specialty.
