Lloydminster is a larger city that has many allied health professionals and services including home care, specialist services (obstetrician, psychiatry, child psychiatry), physical and occupational therapy, mental health and addictions services and treatment, 3 special care homes, a large hospital, public health and chronic disease nurses as well as exercise therapists.

Physicians in Lloydminster work on a fee for service basis.
