The town of Maidstone is located on Highway 16, mid-point between North Battleford and Lloydminster. It is home to the Maidstone Health Complex, a community Hospital with special care home attached. The Maidstone Health Clinic also supports the residents in the nearby community of Paradise Hill with Paradise Hill Health Centre on site.
A Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Rehab aide come every second week; access to the shared dietician; a Speech-Language Pathologist also comes to do swallowing assessments; Collaborative Emergency Center; Laboratory and Diagnostic imaging; Ambulance service; Home Care; Public Health; Dietitian; Addictions; Mental Health Counselling (visiting); Clinical Nurse Educator (visiting).
Maidstone Primary Care Clinic also supports the Paradise Hill Health Center with a clinic twice per week in Paradise Hill. Maidstone Health Complex has 24 long term care beds, 2 respite beds and 11 acute beds. Paradise Hill does not have any beds however, there is a care home that has 11 beds in the community.
