At the New Horizons Primary Health Care site the physician would work in conjunction with the primary care nurse/nurse practitioner. Other team members and services include a retail pharmacist, home care, public health, adult day program, physiotherapy, diabetes clinic, mental health and ambulance services.

Family Physicians can be compensated on an alternate payment model, starting at $301,517 per annum in accordance with the Provincial payment schedule. Community incentives and free housing may also be available.

The Central Butte area has a catchment population of approximately 3,500 within a 30-mile radius. Central Butte is located in South Central Saskatchewan approximately 100 km northwest of the city of Moose Jaw and approximately 200 km from Saskatoon, Regina and Swift Current. Central Butte is a small town with character, offering well maintained residential areas with recreational locations which include a skating and curling complex. The area offers outdoor recreation with two provincial parks, marinas on a beautiful lake and three golf courses within a 40 km radius.
