The clinic offers a walk-in service as well as seeing outpatients at the ED, long term care patients, surgery as well as obstetrics on top of the primary health clinic.
The Clinic uses Med Access as the EMR.
The Meadow Lake Hospital (Northwest Health Facility) and the Meadow Lake Primary Health Center also support care to Goodsoil and Loon Lake communities. There is also opportunity to work in rural outreach clinics in partnership with First Nations Health Services.
Services are provided by Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses and a Primary Health Care Counselor. Also located within the clinic setting are a Pharmacist, Diabetes and Cardiac Nurse Educators and a Dietician. Public Health nurses lead a Sexual Health Clinic which is also held at the clinic on a weekly basis. Outreach services are provided by a Nurse Practitioner and allied services as needed to the Door of Hope Center.
There are Addictions Detox beds (4) located within the Northwest Health Facility (Robert Simard Center).
Specialist services include those that are visiting as well as the opportunity to use Telehealth and telephone communications.
Emergency coverage, long term care, inpatients (rotating shared rounds), service to Goodsoil Primary Health Clinic as well as various satellite clinics partnering with First Nation communities.

The City of Meadow Lake has a population of approximately 5,000 and is home to one District Hospital, 1 Primary Health Care Clinic and 1 Special Care Home. Physicians in Meadow Lake are compensated primarily by alternate payment. The Meadow Lake Hospital, Northwest Health Facility and the Meadow Lake Primary Health Centre in Meadow Lake also support care to Goodsoil and Loon Lake communities.
Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
