The clinic is attached to the Broadview Hospital - a 16 bed acute care facility that offers emergency and outpatient/ambulatory care services. The hospital also offers 24-hour a day emergency care to patients, including assessment, treatment, stabilization and referral. Its major referral center is Regina. Also located in Broadview is the Broadview Centennial Home which is a 36 bed, long-term care facility which also offers an adult day support program.
Services are provided by Physicians, a Nurse Practitioner, and other professionals on a visiting basis, including Public Health Nursing, Mental Health and Addictions Counselling and Diabetes Education.
There is a wide range of community services available within the Primary Health Care team. This includes Mental Health Therapists, an Autism Social Worker, Addictions Workers, Homecare, Public Health, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Therapist, Chronic Disease Nurse Educator, Dietitian, Parenting Plus Program and Spirometry Testing.
Full range of services - LTC, acute care, out-patient/emergency coverage, clinic within Broadview and in the neighbouring First Nations Communities (1 day per week). Obstetrical services if delivery is immanent.
Physician will be responsible for a shared portion of overhead.
Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
