A comprehensive range of health services are provided in Assiniboia. The Assiniboia Union Hospital provides services through 12 Acute Care beds, 22 Long Term Care beds, 4 Respite/Palliative/Observation beds, 24-hour emergency on-call services and full laboratory services. There is also a personal care home offering Level 1 and 2 care and two long term care facilities offering Level 3 and 4 care.

At the Primary Health Care Clinic, the physician will work with 4 other fellow physicians to provide emergency room on-call coverage for the community hospital and the visiting rural clinics. Services will be provided to the residents of Assiniboia, Coronach, Rockglen, Willow Bunch and Mossbank.

Family Physicians can be compensated on either a fee-for-service or an alternate payment model, starting at $301,517 per annum, In accordance with the Provincial payment schedule. Community incentives may also be available.
