Pediatrician

Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Pediatrician to join a well-established and collaborative practice in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will work alongside two experienced pediatricians in a supportive, team-based environment, contributing to a full complement of three specialists serving the community. This role offers a balanced scope of practice, including outpatient and inpatient care, as well as participation in emergency on-call coverage. On-call responsibilities are shared equitably among the three pediatricians to ensure consistent and reliable coverage. The successful candidate will integrate into an established clinic and play a key role in delivering comprehensive pediatric care to the region. Remuneration is provided through a contractual arrangement.

Position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to posted closing date.

Job Qualifications

• Certified or eligible to be certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
• Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed)
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
• Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
