Events
Whether it's a Saskatchewan Roughrider (Rider) football game, a hockey tournament, sports day, or a community event – we love to celebrate!
Saskatchewan is home to a multitude of festivals ranging from Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan, to Dragon
Boat Races, a Fringe Festival or Folk Festival. We have it all, whatever the season. The most accurate and up-to-date source for the festivals and events going on around the province throughout the year is the Tourism Saskatchewan website. Here you will find a list of events and a search tool that allows you to find hundreds of events by community or area.
Museums and Galleries
Saskatchewan is home to more than 400 museums and galleries located in many different communities.
Some of the province's more prominent collections are kept in places like the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina. Other, local collections are kept in museums and galleries located in communities throughout the
province. The new Remai Modern is located in Saskatoon. It is described as "a new museum of modern and contemporary art coming to life in Saskatoon, a growing city on the vast and ever-changing Canadian Prairies."
Please have a look at the Museums Association of Saskatchewan’s website where you can plan a visit to one of our many museums or galleries and learn more about Saskatchewan’s rich and diverse culture and history.
